Black Stars assistant coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor, says his son Charles-Jesaja Herrmann will always be available to represent Ghana at the senior National team level despite representing Germany at the youth level.
Jesaja Herrmann of Wolfsburg II fame, is currently one of the best U23 players in the German Bundesliga and stands a chance of following his father’s steps to feature for the Black Stars in future.
In a Twitter interaction with fans Tuesday, CK Akonnor replied to a question asked whether he would want his son to play for Ghana or by saying ”He is a Ghanaian and believe it doesn’t take me to let him play, because he will be available at all times,”
The 19-year old forward who currently plays for Wolfsburg’s U23 side, has already featured for the German U15-U19 level but remains eligible to play for the Black Stars team that was once captained by his father who is currently a deputy trainer to coach Kwasi Appiah.
