Former Asante Kotoko SC forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu has switched camp to Swedish side FC Trollhattan in the ongoing summer window transfer.
The Ghanaian international is joining the third-tier side from Trelleborgs FF where he spent two seasons.
The 27-year-old joined Trelleborgs in August 2019 following an incredible campaign with Asante Kotoko.
He managed to score just one goal in 12 appearances in the Swedish Superettan and Svenska Cupen this campaign.
The former Whitecaps and Portland Timbers player in 2020 bagged 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 28 appearances.
Safiu has also played for Inter Allies FC in Ghana, FC Shirak Gyumri, Randers FC, Silkeborg IF and Hobro IK.
