Injured Daniel Amartey watched from the screens as his Leicester City side succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspurs.
English-born Ghanaian Callum Hudson-Odoi was left out of the Chelsea squad for their 6-0 humiliation at the hands of Manchester City.
Crystal Palace fought from behind to share the spoils in a 1-1 draw with visiting West Ham United at the Selhurst Park on Saturday. Jeffrey Schlupp played 90 minutes but Jordan Ayew was unused.

VVV Venlo won 2-1 against visiting Willem II with Togolese international Peniel Kokou Mlapa scoring both goals for the winners. Ghanaian Johnathan Opoku Agyemang missed the game with a knee injury.

Defender Kasim Adams Nuhu missed TSG Hoffenheim’s 3-3 drawn game with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
German-born Ghanaian John Yeboah Zamora warmed the bench for Wolfsburg in their 3-3 drawn game at Freiburg.

Bochum U19 consigned Rot-Weiss Essen U19 to a 3-0 defeat. Maxwell Gyamfi replaced the injured Philip Aboagye in the 33rd minute for the winners while midfielder Clinton Asare lasted 74 minutes for Rot-Weiss Essen U19.
SPAIN
Kumasi-born Mohammed Salisu was left out of the Real Valladolid squad for their 0-0 draw with Villarreal at the Estadio José Zorrilla on Friday evening.
Midfielder Thomas Partey was marched off in the 82nd minute while in action for Atletico Madrid in their 3-1 loss to Real Madrid.
Inaki Williams was denied on a number of occasions by Barcelona goalkeeper as they shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw in the La Liga on Sunday. He was substituted late in the game. Kevin-Prince Boateng was unused by Barcelona.
In the Segunda Division, midfielder Isaac Cofie was not in the Sporting Gijon team for their 2-0 home loss to Osasuna.
Almeria defeated Numancia 1-0 on Sunday. Midfieldr Yaw Yeboah played 63 minutes for the 10-man Numancia side.
Alcorcon suffered a 2-1 home loss to Cadiz and Ghanaian Richard Boateng came off the bench to play for the losers.
BELGIUM
Both Joseph Aidoo and Joseph Paintsil were in action for Division One leaders Genk as they managed to post a 2-0 win over Standard Liege on Friday.
Kortrijk imposed themselves on KAS Eupen with a 1-0 away triumph. Bennard Kumordzi was confined to the bench of the winners while midfielder Eric Ocansey watched from the stands due to injury problem. Goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen was with the Ghana U20 squad and missed the game.
Ghanaian defender Nana Kwasi Asare skippered Gent to a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Mouscron.
Anderlecht shared the spoils in a 0-0 drawn game with Waregem. Belgian-born Ghanaian Francis Amuzuwarmed the bench for Anderlecht. Dennis Appiah was not in the Anderlecht squad for the game.
Elton Acolatse and Samuel Asamoah were both full timers for St Truiden who beat visiting Waasland-Bereven 2-1. Winger Nana Opoku Ampomah played for the losers.
Daniel Opare Tawiah was axed from the Royal Antwerp team and didn’t make the trip to Lokeren as they lost 2-1. But, striker William Owusu came off the bench to play in the 61st minute.
In the Division Two, Ghanaian duo of Divine Naah and Ernest Agyiri were named on the Tubize bench in their 1-0 loss at Westerlo. Naah came off the bench to play but Agyiri was unused.

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris scored from the spot for Nantes who surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 4-2 to visiting Nimes on Sunday. French-born Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng was unused by the hosts.
Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman made the Stade de Reims matchday squad but he was unused as he warmed the bench for the entire period in their 1-1 draw with Toulouse.
In the Ligue 2, Lawrence Ati-Zigi manned the post for Sochaux in their 0-0 draw at Beziers on Friday. Olympique Lyon loanee Elisha Owusu also played 90 minutes for Sochaux.
Former Right to Dream Academy graduate Emmanuel Ntim did not make the Valenciennes squad for their 1-0 away win over Clermont Foot.
Attacker Ebenezer Assifuah was unused by Le Havre for their 1-1 drawn game with Orleans.

Wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah reclaimed his starting spot for Inter Milan and lasted the entire duration of the game as they beat Parma 1-0.

Udinese slipped to a painful 1-0 loss at Torino with the Little Zebras wasting a last-minute penalty. Defender Nicholas Opoku warmed the bench for the losers while recovering Emmanuel Agyeman Baduwatched the match from the screens.
Yussif Raman Chibsah starred in midfield for Frosinone who shocked themselves with a 1-0 away win over Sampdoria and breathed survival oxygen into their campaign.
Suspended Alfred Duncan watched from the stands at the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore as Cristiano Ronaldo scored and assisted a goal for Juventus to beat his Sassuolo side 3-0.

Kayserispor won 1-0 against 10-man Fenerbahce in the Super Lig on Friday. Andre Ayew played for the losers as well as Bernard Mensah for the winners. Asamoah Gyan missed the game with injury.
Joseph Attamah came off the bench to replace former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Gael Clichy as his Istanbul side drew 1-1 with Erzurum BB.
Lumor Agbenyenu was in action for 90 minutes for Goztepe in their 3-1 win over Alanyaspor. Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Sackey missed the game with injury for Alanyaspor.
