Ghana youth international, Robin Polley has identified a target for himself after sealing a move to Eredivise side, Heracles Almelo.
The 22-year-old spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Eerste Divisie side, FC Dordrecht where he managed 16 league appearances, providing one assist in the process.
The player will now ply his trade in the Netherlands top division after joining Heracles Almelo from ADO Den Haag, where he has had little time with the first team.
However, Polley is willing to go a step further than the usual, with the target of playing more league games in the top-flight.
Speaking during his unveiling the right-back cum winger said: “When I came here I had a good conversation with Frank (Wormuth, red) and Tim (Gilissen, red). I have a plan that I feel good about. I like the way of working and the way of playing. In addition, I have a great ambition for myself to eventually play Eredivisie matches here on a structural basis.”
Robin Polley was a part of the Ghana under-23 squad who failed to secure qualification to the ongoing Olympic Games in Tokyo.
