Kumasi Asante Kotoko Coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has jumped to the defence of winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi after being bashed by fans of the club that he performed woefully in their Ghana Premier league 1-0 victory over Inter Allies last Sunday.
Sarfo Gyamfi struggled to dribble his marker Fard Ibrahim in the must win game for Kotoko.
He was later booked by centre referee Kyeremeh Yeboah for a late nasty challenge Fard Ibrahim.
Some Kotoko fans who were at the Baba Yara stadium shouted for the former Wa All Stars winger to be substituted during his poor performance but Sarfo Gyamfi laste the full throttle of the game.
However, Coach Fabian says the player worked tremendously well to his tactical plan.
“I have a plan in every game. Sarfo Gyamfi was working to my game plan.”
“He was doing a job for us and we were happy with him that is why he was not substitute.” He said.
