Ghanaian midfielder, Solomon Mensah’s Aswan play EL Masry in the quarter finals of the Egyptian cup this evening.
Both sides are playing for a slot in the semi-finals of the competition. Solomon Mensah’s side beat EL Gouna by a lone goal whiles EL Masry defeated EL Gaish to set-up the semifinals encounter.
The last time both sides met in the Egyptian league, EL Masry defeated Aswan 3-2. Solomon Mensah has been instrumental in the Clubs set-up where they currently lie 15th on the league log with only 5 points above the relegation drop zone.
The Ghanaian last involvement for his club was when he played 64 minutes in their one nil victory against Ghazl EL Mahallah. Solomon Mensah played for Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League before joining Aswan SC.
