Hearts of Oak are still in the position to clinch all trophies of the 2020/21 Ghana football season following their semi-final qualification in the MTN FA Cup.
The Phobians – league champions of Ghana for the first time since 2008/09 – recorded a 1-0 win against Elmina Sharks in the quarter-final stage thanks to an extra time winner from defender Caleb Amankwa.
The qualification means that they meet Medeama SC in a blockbuster of a match in the semifinals as Ashantigod and Berekum Chelsea contest the other semifinal match.
The team of Samuel Boadu lost their final league match of the season at West Africa Football Academy but they bounced back to winning ways as they have been doing recently.
