Ghana defender Daniel Amartey is likely to face a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a terrible injury in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw against West Ham United on Saturday.
The defender was tracking back when challenging Antonio but his boot stuck in the ground and his foot came up in a horrible position, facing sideways.
West Ham scored first on the 30th minute minute through Paraguayan international Fabian Balbuena.
Wilfred Ndidi’s however, grabbed an equalizer for Claude Puel’s side later with a long range drive.
Amartey, 23, frantically signalled to the bench straight away and appeared in agonising pain.
The medical team rushed onto the field and were forced to hand the Ghanaian international oxygen.
