Former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate, Majeed Ashimeru netted his first league goal for RSC Anderlecht in the Belgium Pro League on Monday evening.
The majestic midfielder scored the opening goal of the match one minute after his side had missed a penalty with a cool tap in strike on the 52nd minute after a goalless first 45 minutes.
Before his first goal of the season for RSC Anderlecht in the Belgium Pro League on Monday night, the on loan RB Salzburg man had scored in the Belgium Cup competition for the Purple and Whites.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder scored his first league goal against Royal Antwerp FC who played in the Europa League this season and lies second on the league table.
After beating Anderlecht 4-1 on the road, the Belgium giants have moved fourth on the league log with 52 points after 32 matches with two games left to play in the regular season before the playoffs matches.
