The Sunyani West Member of Parliament Ignatius Baffour Awuah, who is doubles as the minister for employment and Labour relations, recently handed over a beautiful infrastructure edifice to his constituents.
Discussing the quality of the pitches being constructed in the area, the club administrator expressed satisfaction and believes that will surely help the club produce better players to serve the country.
“Football without good infrastructures is baseless and would never yield good fruits. Sunyani west constituency can boast of good football infrastructures which would be beneficiary to the youth in the constituency especially those with football talents”- Pepprah told Space FM.
“Many teams in Ghana always encounter training facilities problems which is the basic and commonest problem everyone who wants to football faces.
“Towns like Odumase and Nsuatre have very good football talents but their basic problem was that, they had no training and playing pitches on which they could use to develop their talents to become polished footballers, for the Black stars.
“Now the MP for Sunyani West has been able to develop very nice pitches in the constituency which has brought laughter on the faces of the youth who play football.”
Sunyani, is regarded as the heart of Ghana football, having produced top stars notably, the late Black Stars striker Kwasi Owusu, Dan Owusu amongst others.
