Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah is considering a rotational plan of the Black Stars captaincy.
The 57 year old trainer who has missed his Captain Asamoah Gyan in his recent Black Stars games due to injury believes it will be a good idea to adopt Brazilian coach Tite’s philosophy of rotating the captain’s armband.
Speaking in an interview with Metro TV, Kwesi Appiah believes the rotational policy will help bring the best out of particular players.
”Gyan is the captain until I decide to change him but maybe I will consider rotating it like you said to take away the pressure and controversy that comes with it.
“I always tell my players to be captains of their positions. Players are at their best when you give them responsibilities.” Appiah mentioned.
