Black stars B defender Samuel Sarfo is confident his side can walk over Burkina Faso in their first qualifier match tomorrow considering the adequate preparation the team has had.
The Black Stars ‘B’ will take on their Burkinabe counterparts in the first leg tie of their CHAN qualifying match on Saturday August 12 before hosting their opponents at the Kumasi Stadium next weekend.
‘’‘As you can see, preparation is far advanced and we are just waiting for the day. Its operation Ouagadougou and we are going in with nothing but will come out victorious’’. Sarfo told ghanapremierleaguelive.com.
Though the Liberty Professionals captain is not sure of being handed starting role in Maxwell Konadu’s team, he says any defender who starts is capable of defending the national colors.
‘‘This is not club side but National side and a lot is required from each and every player who will be selected. If am selected that’s fine but if am not, I just have to support the team with my prayers. Whoever is chosen will give his maximum best’’.
The Policeman has been consistent and impressive for Michael Osei’s side in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League and his inclusion in the national side didn’t come as a surprise to many.
