The offensive numbers of former Ghana Premier League Top Goal Scorer Latif Blessing has drastically reduced in the past two seasons.
Blessing has scored just a goal and made an assist in 24 matches this season for his Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC – his poorest ever season since moving to the United States of America after winning the GPL Golden Boot at Liberty Professionals in 2016.
In his first season in America at Sporting Kansas in 2017, he scored 7 goals and made 3 assist. In the following season, he did 7 goals plus 7 assists for Los Angeles FC. In 2019 it was 6 goals and 6 assists in 39 games for Blessing at the same club.
However in 2020, his numbers started to drop after managing 3 goals and 2 assists in 29 games.
This season after 1,666 minutes across 24 matches , Blessing has scored just once and has drawn blank in his last 16 games making 2021 his most difficult year in American soccer.
