Ghana’s sprinter Emmanuel Dasor will be representing the country at this year’s IAAF World Championship in London.
The 400 metres Athlete qualified after making a time of 45.43 seconds at C-USA Outdoor Championships in Texas (USA).
Dasor becomes the second Ghanaian to make the time for the IAAF Championship after sprint queen Janet Amponsah.
The 21-year-old will be participating in his eighth major competition in his career for making the qualification time.
The US-based Western Kentucky University Athlete has already represented Ghana at the World Junior Championships, Commonwealth Games, African Championships, All African Games, World Indoor Championships and Olympic Games.
Team Ghana is likely to present four athletes at this year’s event.
