Al-Ahli Jeddah winger Samuel Owusu, has expressed excitement following the Black Stars 2-0 win over their Sudanese counterparts in the 2021 AFCON Qualifier at Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday.
Two Goals from Swansea City star Andre Ayew ensured coach Akonnor recorded an emphatic victory in his first competitive game in charge of the Black Stars team.
The ended 2-0 to Ghana who boasts of three wins from three games to sit top of the group before they return to play Sudan in Khartoum on November 17.
Owusu, who started the game and was replaced in the second half by striker Caleb Ansah Ekuban, took to social media to celebrate the victory.
