Highly-rated Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Ababio has completed a permanent move to Slovakian side FK Inter Bratislava from MSK Zilina Africa.
The midfielder has signed a long-term contract with the Liga 2 club and is expected to join his new teammates this week, with a possible debut against Slovan Galanta on Saturday.
Zilina Africa confirmed the transfer, describing Ababio as the “heartbeat” of their team and praising his leadership, passion and commanding presence in midfield.
Inter Bratislava are targeting promotion to Liga 1, and Ababio is expected to play an important role in their campaign as he begins his European adventure.
