Admira Wacker FC Sporting director Franz Wohlfahrt has heaped praise on new signing David Atanga after completing his transfer move to the club.
The former Ghana U20 start joined Austrian side, Admira Wacker, from the German second division team Holstein Kiel on Monday.
The 24-year-old former Red Bull Salzburg player joins Admira on loan until the end of the season.
“David Atanga was and is our dream player. As a club, we have done everything we can to get David on Holstein Kiel loose. We would like to thank the people in charge at Holstein Kiel who made this loan possible and who met us,” Wohlfahrt said as quoted by the club’s website.
Atanga played for RB Salzburg in 2015, and he was also active at SV Mattersburg and SKN St. Pölten.
He played a total of 34 Bundesliga games and scored eight goals and four assists.
