The Aduana Football Club coach W.O Tandoh has verbally assaulted Asante Kotoko’s head coach Maxwell Konadu in a recent radio interview describing his colleague’s tactics as a “village tactics”
Both Asante Kotoko and Aduana started the Ghana premier league game at Dormaa with 10 players, a decision which is believed to be informed by superstition.
The gaffer of the Aduana based team has however defended his team claiming it was Asante Kotoko’s masterminded plan which also forced his side not to have started the game with 11 men.
Tandoh speaking on a telephone interview with Accra based Angel FM severely descended on his colleague with a very harsh words describing to be outmoded.
Following the interview, Aduana Football club we understand have called to apologize to Maxwell Konadu and are ready to punish Tandoh who we are told will be replaced by Former Kotoko Coach Paa Kwesi Phabien in weeks ahead.
Football fans, administrators, journalist, etc have all expressed the comments of Tandoh as shocking stating he’s not known for that. Listening to the interview Tandoh was also heard making seemingly a tribal reference and attacking even the host of the show to the extent of threatening to quit the interview. Some have however inferred Tandoh might have been drunk by the time of the interview, which is not established.
