General Captain Asamoah Gyan, and Captain Andre Ayew who were part of the second batch of players who left Accra on Sunday evening to join the rest of their teammates in the United Arab Emirates for the team’s pre-tournament camp in Dubai have arrived safely.
The team has pitched camp in the UAE ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The team was met on arrival by Ghana’s Ambassador to United Arab Emirates Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan.
Deputy captain Kwadwo Asamoah, Kassim Nuhu, John Boye, Mohammed Alhassan and others reported to camp on Saturday, according the Ghana Football Association’s Twitter handle
The Black Stars will open their Group F campaign against Benin on 25th May, 2019 before facing defending champions Cameroon three days later with their final group fixture slated for 2nd July, 2019.
They will play two warm-up friendlies against Namibia and South Africa before finally flying to Egypt for the continental showpiece which starts on 21st June and ends on 20th July, 2019.
