Black Stars held their first training session on Monday evening as they begin preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The shake-up exercise took place at the Jeber Ali training Facility in Dubai.
The team will pitch a three-weeks camp in Abu Dhabi to rehearse their tactics as they seek to end the country’s 37-year wait for a trophy.
The Black Stars are scheduled to play two pre-tournament friendlies against Namibia and South Africa in the Gulf country.
Kwasi Appiah has named 29-man provisional squad for the training camp, and is expected to use the friendlies to asses his squad’s readiness for the continental showpiece which starts on June 21.
He is expected to name his final squad for the tournament on June 11, 2019 as per the CAF regulations.
