Aston Villa will be without Ghana forward Albert Adomah when they travel to Loftus Road to play Queens Park Rangers on Friday, manager Deen Smith has confirmed.
According to Smith, the former Middlesbrough winger will not be available for the Villans play as guest to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Steve McClaren has his team on a roll – undefeated in his side’s last four league matches with three victories over: Reading, Ipswich Town, and Sheffield Wednesday whiles Aston Villa on the other hand looks to rebound on Friday after a midweek defeat at Norwich City.
“Albert has a knock on his knee,” Smith told the Express & Star.
“It was a knee on knee. He hobbled out. It was a blow, that one, because I thought he was giving their full-back some real trouble.”
Adomah has played 12 games for Villa this season registering one assist.
