Former Ashanti Gold SC trainer Bashir Hayford has revealed he will soon come back to active coaching months after parting ways with the miners.
According to the veteran Coach, he has had enough rest which puts him in a very good condition to return to the pitch adding he’s ready to work with any team that needs his services.
”I have had enough rest after parting ways with Ashgold and now ready to join any club that is able to meet my demand” said Bashir Hayford told Kumasi based Abusua FM.
”I have retired from Ghana Education service [GES] therefore I am ready to return to the pitch and continue my coaching career”.
He continued ”I heard President Nana Addo wants to use schools sports as a catalyst for sports development”.
”I want him to employ experienced people like us so that we can impact some of the knowledge we have to the young ones. I am ready for any offer”.
‘Bash’ affectionately called in the football world however didn’t rule out any possible return to Asante Kotoko where he won the 2008/2009 Ghana Premier League with the likes of Samuel Inkoom, Harrison Afful and Francis Akwaffo.
”His royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu told me he has given me out for a loan and he will call me when he needs my services. Am ready and still waiting for that call”.
