The Black Satellites of Ghana have booked qualification to the 2019 Africa Youth Championship to be held in Niger after a 1-1 draw with Benin in the second leg of the final qualifier on Sunday.
Ghana after whipping Benin 3-1 in the first leg game at the Cape Coast Stadium, went ahead to draw 1-1 with them in the return leg to secure ticket to next year’s tournament on a 4-2 aggregate scoreline.
Midfielder Prosper Ahiagbo levelled things for Ghana 8 minutes to stoppage time after the home side had scored midway in the second half.
The three-time Africa Champions had failed to qualify for the previous three tournaments.
