Black Stars move up in latest FIFA ranking

Ghana have moved 9 places up in the latest FIFA ranking for the month of February.

The Black Stars have moved up in the latest Federation of International Football Association [FIFA] world ranking released on Thursday, February 9, 2017.

Ghana moved from 54th position to 45th, after they won three and lost three in the just ended 2017 Nations Cup tournament in Gabon.

Senegal, maintained the top spot in Africa, with 31st position in the world ranking.

African Champions Cameroon, finished second, following their outstanding display in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.

The Black Stars after finishing fourth at the AFCON have again appreciated by two places on the African continent, moving from 9th to 7th.
