Emmanuel Gyamfi of Asante Kotoko has been slapped with a GHC 1000 fine and handed a match suspension by the GFA Disciplinary Committee for his off-the ball incident against Inter Allies player Andy Okpe during a league match in Dawu.
Emmanuel Gyamfi was charged for a breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League
Regulations, 2019.
During the match between Inter Allies FC and Asante Kotoko at the Theatre of Dreams, Emmanuel Gyamfi stamped player number 45 of Inter Allies (Andy Okpe) in an off-ball situation around the 65th minute of the game, an action which in the opinion on the association is improper and likely to bring the game into disrepute.
1. That Emmanuel Gyamfi is found guilty of the Charges.
2. A fine of GHc1,000 is hereby imposed on Emmanuel Gyamfi in accordance with Article 6.1(c) of the GFA Disciplinary Code
3. That Emmanuel Gyamfi is hereby handed a onematch ban in accordance with Article 12(b) of the GFA Disciplinary Code.
4. Emmanuel Gyamfi is warned that any future misconduct shall receive a more severe punishment.
