The dreaded striker scored his first goal for Porcupine Warriors in their CAF Champions League match against Etoile du Sahel on Sunday.
Arthur finally registered his first goal for the club after three competitive matches since joining them months ago.
Former Ghana Premier League Goalking Augustine Okrah scored first for Kotoko with a fine freekick in the 2nd minute before Arthur scored on the 55th minute help Asante Kotoko beat the North African side 2-0 in the crucial clash.
“I feel good” he told the Kotoko Express App.
“As a striker, you need to step up to the stage in big games like this. I am very happy that, the floodgate of my goals has finally opened and I hope it continues,” Arthur prayed.
“All that I was craving for was my first goal for Asante Kotoko and thankfully, I had it, so the supporters should expect more from me because more goals will follow,” he added.
Arthur, a former Wa All Stars striker, joined Asante Kotoko as a free agent after returning Ethiopia where he played for Saint George SA.
