Asante Kotoko striker Richard Arthur, is confident the Porcupine Warriors will eliminate Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel from the ongoing Caf Champions League.
Arthur, who scored Kotoko’s second goal in their 2-0 win over Etoile du Sahel says though the return leg in Tunisia won’t come easy, he’s hopeful the Porcupine Warriors will pick good results in Tunisia worth sealing qualification to the next phase of the competition.
The former WA All Stars and Saint Georges FC forward speaking to Light FM in Kumasi however, expressed excitement after scoring his first goal for the club.
He says: “As a striker, if you work very hard on the pitch without scoring, you have done nothing so I thank God for scoring my first goal. Before the game, I knew I would score so I am happy upon fulfilling it,”
”I came to Kotoko for business not to joke so I am hoping that this scoring feet will continue.”
He added: “We have to believe that with this performance shown, we can eliminate them. If any penalty of so ever comes over, we trust in our goalkeeper Felix Annan to save it.
”Our main motive is to score an early goal there and avoid petty mistakes. Moreover, we will inculcate their delaying tactics,I want to tell the supporters that we have qualified already,”
