The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has today announced more than 67 million CFA (about $114 ooo or 450 000 GHC)gained from the sale of tickets for the Senegal – Cape Verde 2018 World Cup qualifier played in Dakar which the Teranga Lions won 2-0 thanks to goals from Keita Balde and Moussa Sow goals.
“The proceeds from the sale of tickets is 67,207,000 FCFA or 89.60% of revenue projections,” says the FSF in a statement released on Tuesday.
The Teranga Lions lead Group D of the 2018 World Cup qualifying tournament with 3 points. South Africa and Burkina Faso each has one point and Cape Verde are last in the group without a point.
