Black Stars forward, Caleb Ekuban made his 100th club appearance for his team Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig since his move to the Clarets in 2019.
The Ghanaian forward joined the Turkish giants from English Premier League team Leeds United in the summer of 2019 and has been constant figure in the Super Lig side’s last two campaigns.
The 27-year-old played full throttle for his team and was arguably the best player in the game as he provided a masterclass performance in his side’s away 1-1 stalemate at Goztepe.
Ekuban, before his permanent move in 2019 to Trabzonspor from Leeds United had previously played on loan at the club and dazzled throughout the 2018-19 season which led to his permanent move in 2019 August.
Ekuban grabbed a late equalizer for Trabzonspor on the 88th minute to help his club avoid defeat against a determined Goztepe team on Wednesday evening.
The Ghanaian striker has scored 21 goals in his 100 appearances for Trabzonspor bagging nine in the league and two in Cup games this season after scoring 10 in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons respectively.
Ekuban is a full-capped Ghanaian international and played his first major tournament for the four-time AFCON winners in 2019 and missed his penalty against Tunisia in the round 16 clash.
The Ghanaian capped of his 100th club appearance for Trabzonspor in style when his late earned his team a point which could go a long way to cement their Europa League spot for next season.
