Former Accra Hearts Of Oak Managing Director Vincent Odotei Sowah has jumped to the defense of under-fire Black Stars coach James Kwasi Appiah despite his side’s unimpressive campaign at the 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt.
According to Sowah, the former Ghana skipper should be maintained as Black Stars gaffer as it is part of team building.
Ghana exited the 2019 AFCON after losing 5-4 to Tunisia on penalties at the Ismailia Stadium with the game characterized by controversial officiating.
Speaking at Asempa FM, Honorable Odotei Sowah kicked against any decision to get coach Kwasi Appiah fired.
“Coach Kwasi Appiah must be retained as Black Stars coach despite the team failure at the 2019 AFCON”, Vincent Odotei Sowah told Asempa FM.
