Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp , are set to release Ghana defender Daniel Opare after deciding against extending is contract at the club.
The 29-year-old former FC Porto and Augsburg defender has just a month left on his contract and according to reports in Belgium, Royal Antwerp are not ready to offer the defender a fresh deal.
Opare, 29, joined Antwerp in 2018 summer after ending his spell with Bundesliga outfit Augsburg.
However, inadequate playing time and off the field problems including a persistent knee injury wrecked the last days of his stay at the club forcing the club to sanction his exit.

The versatile defender, won the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup with Ghana and joined Real Madrid in 2008.
He later left the Spanish powerhouse to join Standard Liege and went ahead to make countless impressive appearances for them.
