Ashantigold SC defender Frank Akoto has advised officials of Dreams FC to help improve the standard of the Dawu pitch for the betterment of the game.
The defender believes the poor nature of the pitch contributed to the visitors’ big loss in the game.
Akoto’s comment comes in the wake of his side’s heavy defeat to the Still Believe lads on Thursday.
Dreams FC defeated the Obuasi-based club 4-1 in their Ghana Premier League matchday 16 fixture.
Joseph Esso’s hat-trick plus Agyenin Boateng’s beautiful strike ensured Dreams FC demolished the Miners at the Theatre of Dreams – Dawu.
David Abagna meanwhile, scored the only consolation goal for the visitors.
Akoto reacting to his team’s defeat via a Twitter post said ”Humiliating results but heads up. We focus on the next game. @DreamsFootballC you guys should do something about your pitch to improve the game.”
