Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Poku is set to join emerging Algerian powerhouse USM Alger for a fee of 500,000 Euros.
SportsworldGhama.com can exclusively reveal that the Algerian side has been taken over by Merlyn Partners SCSp who also owns French club Lille and they are bent on recruiting top players as they seek both local and continental glory.
Poku is schedule to leave Ghana next week Wednesday for Algeria where he will have his medicals and append his signature to the two-and-a-half-year deal. .
The player will also be given a brand new Benz C3 Class vehicle after signing the deal and he will be entitled to other special incentives.
Poku has been sensational for Asante Kotoko in the ongoing Ghana Premier League netting seven goals so far.
