German-born Ghanaian defender Lennard Adjetey Sowah will sign for Bundesliga 3 outfit VFL Lubeck in the coming days.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively reveal that the former Arsenal, Hamburg and Portsmouth left-back has been training with the German third-tier side for the past two weeks and manager Rolf Martin Landerl is ready to sign him.
Sowah, 27, has been without a club since leaving Scottish outfit Hamilton Academical last summer and Lubeck could give him another avenue to shine.
Touted as the next biggest lateral defender in German football during his formative years, Sowah has failed to live up to the billing and has so far played a total of ten teams in the space of ten years.
He has represented Germany at all age FIFA competitions but still eligible to play for Ghana.
