FA Cup Semis: Amos Addai adjudged ‘Man of the Match’ in Ashgold’s big win over Chelsea

Ashanti Gold SC midfielder, Amos Addai walked away with the Man of the Match award following his side’s huge win over Berekum Chelsea in the semi final of the MTN FA Cup.

The Miners beat Chelsea with a 4-1 scoreline at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday after an initial 1-1 match score at the end of the regular 90 minutes, scoring three goals in the extra time.

Addai, who has been good all season for Ashgold, scored the club’s third goal on the day after Eric Esso and Amos Nkrumah had netted earlier before Seth Osei wrapped things up for the Obuasi-based club.

Amos walked was adjudged the Man of the Man for his dazzling performance from the middle of the park, leading to his side’s triumph.
