Business Development of Karela United Eric Alagidede has taking a swipe at government in the wake of Ghana’s failed AFCON campaign insisting the massive appointment of politicians to manage the team is to blame for our woes. Government ahead of Ghana’s participation at the 2019 AFCON put together a five member management committee led by former Kotoko CEO Dr. KK Sarpong to manage the Black Stars campaign in Egypt. The GNPC boss Dr. KK Sarpong together with , deputy sports minister Perry Okudzeto, former black Stars player Ibrahim Sunday, deputy chief of staff Francis Asenso Boakye and Deputy Finance minister Madam Abena Osei Asare were put in charge of the team to ensure that end of our trophy drought at the AFCON. But looks like that decision backfired.
“That management committee look at the committee, the man who said that we should applaud them for accepting to serve on the committee ,the deputy sports minister disaster”
“Madam Abena Osei Asare deputy finance minister i can credit her for some intelligence when it comes to running the economy but when it comes to football i beg to differ, deputy chief of staff ,Francis Asenso Boakye, what were these gentlemen and lady going to do in Egypt “Alagidede told Starr Sports
“They taught managing football is mounting political platforms to promise we will give you one dam, one district and what have you”
“Football management is a very different “he added
