Ghanaian forward Raymond Gyasi has completed his move to Finish side Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS) in the winter transfer.
The Dutch-born Ghanaian international, joins RoPS following the expiration of his contract with Norwegian side Stabaek FC.
“We were even lucky enough to get a player with such a profile for ourselves,” says RoPS head coach Vesa Tauriainen about his new player.
Raymond Gyasi, 25, was born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents.
He signed his first professional contract with the Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the 2013-2014 season, having previously represented their junior sides.
Gyasi moved abroad for the 2017 season to sign for Stabæk in the Norwegian top-flight on a three-year contract.
His last season at Stabæk was broken due to a foot injury early in the season. However, he impressed in the few Cup matches he featured for the club after his injury recovery.
Gyasi, who was a member of Ghana’s U23 team what qualified the Black Meteors for the 2015 All African Games in Congo Brazzaville in 2015 is the junior brother of Black Stars winger Edwin Gyasi.
