Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC former striker, Songne Yacouba was on target for Young Africans SC in the Tanzanian Premier League on Saturday afternoon against Biashara Mara United.
The 29-year-old Burkina Faso player scored the only goal of the match to secure a vital home win for the Green and Yellows as they continue to push for a possible league trophy with Simba SC breathing down their throat.
After a goalless first 45 minutes of the entertaining match, the former Asante Kotoko SC darling boy popped up in the second half after 58 minutes to score the winner for the home team to keep their position at the top wide open.
Yacouba has been a consistent performer for Young Africans SC and has scored seven goals in the Tanzanian Premier League this season.
