King Faisal shot stopper Ibrahim Danlad’s ‘Superlative’ display earns him first Man-Of-The-Match award

Kumasi King Faisal FC goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad was named Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s 0-0 stalemate at home to Ashantigold SC on Saturday afternoon after a mouth-watering and a superlative performance on the day.

The CAF U-20 best shot stopper produced series of great saves in the game to keep his team in the encounter till the final whistle was blown by the center referee.

Inside 35 minutes, Yaw Annor struck well at goal but the Asante Kotoko SC loanee did well to grab the ball his grasp to allay any danger.

Few minutes into the second half, Amos Addai nearly broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors ahead but the young goalkeeper, Danlad came to the rescue of the hosts with a superb save to keep the score at 0-0.

After the game ended goalless, the youngster was picked as the Most Valuable Player of the game.
