Manchester Unites manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects Timothy Fosu-Mensah to leave the Red Devils in the near future.
The Dutchman had refused to renew his expiring contract and can talk to other clubs in January.
Solskjaer isn’t exactly sure what Fosu-Mensah’s future looks like, but doesn’t expect him to stay with United for long.
“I don’t know if he will stay longer if he will make a quick decision,” Solskjaer said at the press conference before the match against Watford.
“He hasn’t played enough and can talk to other clubs to see if he can leave in January or in the summer.”
Solskjaer, however, is disappointed that he cannot keep the lanky defender.
“It is difficult when you have good players, but you cannot give them playing time. He is now in the phase that he has to play again. Maybe he will find a new club at the end of January, otherwise in the summer. He is working hard for it. , so he’s ready for a new club. “
