The Ghana Football Association has launched the Women’s Football Strategy to help the game grow in the country.
On Tuesday, July 4, the project was officially launched at the Alisa Hotel.
Following its launch, the Women’s Football Strategy intends to concentrate on grassroots football development, talent identification, national teams, education, sponsorship, and a variety of other initiatives.
The plan is also to promote the growth of women’s football in terms of coaching and infrastructural development.
According to the Ghana Football Association, the approach will be adopted this year and will last until 2026.
Kurt Okraku, President of the GFA, stated that all women’s league clubs will receive copies of the Women’s Football Strategy book to help with implementation.
