Ghana international Rashid Sumalia has won the player of the month award for December at his club Al Ghafara in Qatar.
Rashid, who has been instrumental for the Qatar based football club prior to the December honour has won several man of the match awards, grabbing two only in last October.
The Al Ghafara Twitter handle announced the Ghanaian defender as the player of the month for December stating as part of the monthly awards at the club, they honoring Rashid for being outstanding.

Ironically Rashid Sumalia who has been earning places in the Ghana Black stars team was unfortunately snubbed by Coach Avram Grant in the 2017 AFCON squad.
