Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah has been appointed the new deputy captain at Turkish Super Lig club Yeni Malatyaspor.
GHANASoccernet.com reports that the 28-year-old midfielder dynamo has been handed the deputy captaincy role by coach Hamza Hamzaoğlu following his impressive display and exemplary leadership qualities at the club.
Acquah joined the club last season on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract with Italian Serie A side Empoli.
