Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi registered his first goal of the season for Spezia Calcio in their 2-2 draw against Cagliari in the Italian Serie A on Monday evening.
The Black Stars struck after just seven minutes on the clock to put the visitors ahead after being set up by Daniell Verde. The first half ended 0-1 in favour of Spezia Calcio.
Back from break Simone Bastoni extended the away team’s lead to 0-2 in the 58th-minute but Jao Pedro pulled one back for the hosts in the 62nd-minute mark of the game.
Four minutes later the attack truck again, this time from the spot to complete his brace for the day.
Emmanuel Gyasi who has been named in Ghana’s 31-man provisional squad for next month’s Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers double-header against Ethiopia and South Africa, lasted tbe full duration of the game.
He, however, got booked in the 66th minute for an unsporting tackle on his opponent.
