Ghanaian players Benjamin Tetteh and Joseph Paintsil were on the score sheet on Sunday afternoon as Yeni Malatyaspor defeated Ankaragucu by two goals to one in the Turkish Superliga.
The two players had a great game at the New Malatya Sports Stadium and were very efficient for their clubs respectively in the epic clash.
Tetteh who recently recovered from Coronavirus replaced Kubilay Kanatsizkus in the 68th minute and netted the second goal for his side ten minutes later after Adem Buyuk had given them a 55th-minute lead.
Ankaragucu fought back and reduced the deficit in the 93rd minute through a Joseph Paintsil penalty.
Tetteh who is on loan from Sparta Prague has banged in five league goals so far this season whereas his compatriot who is also on loan from Genk has scored ten.
