Italian-born Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Gyasi has expressed excitement after bagging his first brace of the season for Spezia Calcio.
The Ghanaian international scored the double for Spezia in their 2-2 draw with Parma in the Italian top-flight on Saturday afternoon.
Yann Karamoh shot Parma ahead in the 17th minute and doubled their lead through Hernani in the 25th minute.
However, a brace from Gyasi in the second half ensured Spezia drew the game.
The Ghanaian pulled one back in the 52nd minute before grabbing his second goal in the 72nd minute.
”It was a brace that allowed us to resume the game and I’m very happy. In the first half, we did not do well, but in the second half we returned to the field with a different attitude,” Gyasi said after the game.
Spezia are currently 15th on the log with 25 points.
