Ghana’s Black Meteors attacker Samuel Obeng Gyabaa scored again for his team Real Oviedo in the Spanish La Liga 2 on Friday evening against UD Almeria.
The 24-year-old versatile forward grabbed his second goal of the season in the second tier league in Spain after grabbing a goal in his team’s first game of the season at home last weekend.
José Carlos Lazo scored a beauty of a goal to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game after just five minutes of action to put pressure on the visitors who were yet to settle in the game.
Ten minutes later, the Ghanaian forward scored to draw his team level with a right-footed effort inside the center of the box into the bottom left corner to make it all square again on the 15th minute mark.
On the stroke of half time, Lucas Robertone scored from an improbably angle to restore the home team’s lead with a powerful close range finish to make it 2-1 before the break.
Almeria were the better side after the break and created a lot of good openings but there were no goals in the second half as it ended 2-1 against Obeng’s team, Oviedo.
Oviedo are winless in their first opening two games in the La Liga 2 after drawing 2-2 at home to Lugo last weekend and suffering defeat to Almeria leaves them on the 14th spot temporarily with one point.
The Ghanaian forward has started the 2021-22 season on a high with two goals from two games so far for the Blue and Whites.
