Ghanaian international striker Joel Fameyeh scored his 8th goal in nine matches in Russia for FC Orenburg against PFC Kuban on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ghanaian forward scored the only goal for the Blue and Whites outfit as they moved top of the league table with 31 points from 14 matches.
Fameyeh scored the winning goal for FC Orenburg after 39 minutes with a brilliant finish.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC striker played 88 minutes of the match before he was substituted and replaced with Vladimir Sychevoi.
The 24-year-old former Dinamo Brest marksman has scored 8 goals in nine matches in Russia for FC Orenburg in the Russian First National League this season.
He has been invited by Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe next month in Cape Coast and Harare.
