Ghana Black Stars shot stopper Joseph Wollacott would miss arguably what could be the biggest game in his club career next month when his Swindon Town face Manchester City in the third round of the English FA Cup.
Swindon Town, which features in League 2 have not reached the third round since 2012 and they will now host the Premier League champions at the County Grounds next month.
Wollacott will be on national team duties with Ghana at the AFCON in Cameroon in January which means he won’t be available for the game against the Premier League giants on January 8, 2022.
He has been on top form for his club so fat this season as they sit 4th on the fourth tier league log with 33 points from 18 games.
