Ghanaian international midfielder Alfred Duncan has been called up for Ghana’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe following his blistering start to the season in Italy.
The Ghanaian international has played in Fiorentina’s last five games and was a delight to watch with an impressive performances for the club.
He is currently ranked as the second-fastest player in the Italian Serie after clocking a speed of 34km/hr in the Violets outfit.
Due to his stallar display in the Serie A this campaign, Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac handed him his first call up in almost a year for the games against Zimbabwe next month.
The Stars will face the Warriors of Zimbabwe next month at home at the Cape Coast stadium on match day three of the qualifiers before traveling to Harare three days later for the reverse fixture.
